Greetings to Our AWCO Members!
I hope this finds you well and hydrated! This has been a long hot summer and it is not over yet! I hope you all had an opportunity to spend some quality time with your family and/or friends for a restful vacation or that you have plans to do so before the school year begins in a few weeks. Before you know it, football season will be here and we will be obligated every weekend until Thanksgiving – oh well, that’s life in the South!
New Officers for 2011-2012
In addition to the officer’s that you elected: 1st VP – Joe Barger; 2nd VP – Linda Davis Anderson; Secretary – Dana Ingber; and Treasurer – Kathy Martin–Spakes; we have named the additional Directors for this year’s term: Dawn Adams, Past President; Josh Holden, Becky Feronti and David Palmer. Our term will expire on 12-31-2012.
A Busy Calendar of Events for AWCO Members
We have already been busy planning and forecasting future events for you and for AWCO! We attach a “Calendar of Event’s” for your keeping. Some of these events are subject to change and you will be notified when and if that occurs. In addition, we are enclosing the 2012 Membership Application for you to consider as you plan your budget for the calendar year 2012. Please hold onto this Application and send it to us in time to be able to attend the 2012 Spring Conference FREE.
Don't Miss the Fall Conferenence in November
We are excited to assist the State Department of Industrial Relations and offer our Fall Conference in Huntsville, AL this coming November. Our Conference will provide the 8 hours of Adjuster Credits required by the State. We sincerely hope you will plan to attend this educational event and especially if you have not obtained your continuing educational credits for this calendar year. The Westin – Huntsville is adjacent to Bridge Street Town Centre and offers shopping, dining and entertainment options as well as a full SPA on site.
